Google.org is supporting the CyberSafe Foundation with a three‑year grant for Resilio Africa, a cybersecurity resilience initiative across Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa. The program will provide over 200 Critical Community Institutions (CCIs) with free cybersecurity tools, risk assessments, threat intelligence, incident‑response playbooks, and more than 10,000 hours of pro bono expert consulting. Resilio Africa also offers tiered training for executives, IT teams, and frontline staff to strengthen human and technical defenses.

This initiative targets CCIs, including schools, healthcare facilities, local government agencies, and nonprofits, that often lack sufficient cybersecurity resources. The program is expected to protect over 2 million people and secure more than 15 million public records, shielding these institutions from ransomware, phishing, and other cyber threats.
